Leaving for MCF in the rain. The rains have arrived and it rained hard for manhy hours overnight and into the morning. Complete with thunderstorms and the inevitable power outage. The Kenyan system of clearing the inside of the windshield is shown, Simple sloppy and it works.
Arriving on time, I enjoyed teaching three classes very much. Feedback from students continues to be filled with gratitude. Several times I was surprised at how much these students retain from sermons at devotions, and from the workshop, even years later.
After teaching the day away I had a lovely tea with Mr. Jerome. A bit cooler in his quarters because it had been cloudy and raining.
The rainy season seems to have started and that means power is off and on a lot. I brought a battery powered lantern with me and it works very well. Of course one can never tell when power will be restored. Part of the adventure indeed!
