Yesterday's wind and rain caused some tree damage. This branch fell on top of the new ceramics workshop building still under construction. It had to be removed using machetes, hand saws, ropes and old-fashioned manual teamwork.
In fact there are four men aloft trying to cut up the big branch without it falling on the building or the workers. Hence the ropes. In the end they were quite successful. Charles' son Dickson was the engineer overseeing the cut.
Another steady day of writing and interviewing for Narratives. I spoke to two beneficiaries, Mercy (pictured) and Isaac to hear their testimonies. These will evetually be published in the Narratives. I also spoke with Dr. Dennis of the Dispensary and the Community Health Workers about the Prevention and Health Promotion Educational Program to be detailed in a future Narrative. There is a significant impact to the larger communities around MCF Ndalani that are well worth documenting. The very positive impact has been achieved in less than 10 years by the innovative, intentional and dedicated health care/promotion from the MCF Ndalani Dispensary, the MCF Community Health Program, and the MCF Medical Camps.

Returning to the Main Square I found a team listening to the Mission Choir in different configurations. It was the beginning audition for the Mission MCF Choir which may perform in Toronto at the Glen Gould Center in October 2025. Ndondo seemed to be the person in charge of this project.
